The PuffCuff in Essence: It's the Black Joy for Me!

What a year it has been for The PuffCuff! We moved into our new headquarters at the beginning of this year. PuffCuff was awarded a generous grant from a social media giant. My 50th birthday was a once-in-a-lifetime experience celebrating BOBs and woman-owned businesses/vendors, bringing the evening to life. I finally checked becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. off my bucket list, which has been an unspoken desire of mine for over 30 years. PuffCuff's Instagram has hit 80K followers. Yet, it does not stop there.

PuffCuff will be at the 2022 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Louisiana, from July 1st to 3rd. We will be featured in the immersive Essence Beauty Carnival as part of the Beauty Marketplace, amongst other black-owned and beloved beauty brands. This year's theme, "It's the Black Joy for Me," depicts the exact sentiment of the PuffCuff team since being selected to participate in this year's marketplace. In preparation for Black culture's biggest annual celebration, we have a gorgeous group of influencers to demo our flagship product, the PuffCuff Hair Clamp. We will also be giving away free gifts to our curlfriends, new and former. I have also been tapped to speak on the Marketplace Stage at ESSENCE Festival on Saturday, July 2nd, 3:30 pm CT for a session titled Live at Essence: New Voices Entrepreneur Spotlight! Yass Lawd!
