How do I open a wholesale account?

You must register online for a wholesale account. Please complete the wholesale account application by CLICKING HERE.

If approved, an account invite/activation email will be sent to you within 3 to 5 business days.  In addition to your EIN, we require a paper copy of your state resale license for our files before your second purchase. You can mail it, scan & email it, or upload it.

NOTE: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon do not collect sales tax, so if you live in any of those states then we do NOT require a resale license from you. We do require some documentation that you are in business to set up a wholesale account. Be sure to supply all requested documentation. 

ANOTHER NOTE: SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL. Also, all brick & mortar stores must have at least one full year of being in operation to be considered for a wholesale account with PuffCuff.

How can I successfully sell PuffCuff?

We have a number of tools available to help you make a success of selling the PuffCuff. You may download marketing collateral on the MEDIA FAQs page. These materials can be placed as banners on your website. Additionally, we have point-of-purchase tools for selling in brick-and-mortar retail locations or wherever you do business. Specific marketing collateral is available in different translations (i.e. Spanish, French, German or Portuguese). What is the minimum order?

To receive wholesale pricing, you must place a minimum order of 12 units of same kind/SKU. We do NOT allow mixing of SKUs to meet the minimum.

What is the actual retail price of PuffCuff Hair Clamp?

From $15.99 to $49.99 + shipping 

Are all the products on the PuffCuff website available at wholesale prices?

Most but not all. PuffCuff Hair Clamps are always available for purchase at wholesale price.

Can I resell the PuffCuff for less than the retail price?

No

Can I resell the PuffCuff on Amazon Marketplace?

NO. This creates a conflict of interest and direct competition. We sell the PuffCuff line of products on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. We will not sell the PuffCuff line of products to any retailer who plans to resell those products on any Amazon marketplace. If discovered, we will request the retailer remove the listing(s). Although we cannot force retailers to remove the Amazon marketplace listing(s), we reserve the right to refuse future sale to that retailer.

When will my order be processed?

Each order takes 1-2 business days for internal processing. All orders that are received after 2 pm EST on Fridays are shipped with USPS on Monday. All orders will receive an email confirmation when the order is placed and when the order is shipped. Please remember that carriers do not include weekend days in their count of business days. No order are processed or shipped on noted holidays.

Do you take rush orders?

Yes, we can process rush orders for an extra fee. Extra shipping charges will also apply. Please contact wholesale@thepuffcuff.com to get a rush order fee quote.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship all international orders via DHL or USPS Priority Mail International. International shipments must clear customs in their destination countries. International customers are responsible for any and all customs duties, taxes and brokerage fees that their package may incur. These extra costs are not included in our shipping/handling fees. Please allow 5 - 7 weeks delivery time. For many major markets, the actual number of days may vary based on origin and customs delays.

Can I rename the PuffCuff to sell on my site or in my store?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Since all orders come with retail packaging and because our products are both patented and trademarked, you must sell PuffCuffs using its brand name.

Can I repackage the PuffCuff to sell on my site or in my store?

ABSOLUTELY NOT, unless you have received written permission from The PuffCuff. Because our products are both patented and trademarked, you must sell PuffCuffs using its original name and/or retail packaging.

Are PuffCuffs round banana clips?

PuffCuff’s are NOT round banana clips. They do NOT work the same. PuffCuffs are specifically designed to create high buns and afro puffs painlessly for curly, thick, coily and otherwise textured hair. Please educate customers on how to properly use the PuffCuff by accessing the Partner Education page.

Do you take C.O.D.?

NO. We have a variety of payment options including the ability to pay with a variety of credit and debit cards but we do not offer an option for C.O.D.

Is my payment secure?

Our site is PCI compliant and is SSL certified in order to make your online transactions secure. 

How are returns of wholesale orders handled?

Please call 888.717.6777 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to shipping the product back. Absolutely NO return of any type will be accepted without an RA number. RA numbers are valid for 14 business days after issue. Product must be received to our location within 30 days from the date of the invoice. Once the return is processed and approved, a credit to your account or issuance of a refund may take up to 14 business days.

PuffCuff will not accept unauthorized returns or exchanges. Packages without a Return Authorization Number will be refused upon return to our location. PuffCuff will impose a minimum of 20% and up to a 35% restocking fee plus any applicable shipping and handling charges for refused or undeliverable shipments. Additional charges may apply if the merchandise is not returned in 100% complete condition in the original, unopened packaging.

The fastest way for us to handle a return is for you to accept initial delivery and then contact us about sending the items back. Please contact us at 888.717.6777 or email wholesale@thepuffcuff.com. When the procedure is followed, we can credit your account within a few days. If you refuse the shipment and the product goes back to the carrier, it might not get back to us for 3 to 5 weeks. We cannot and will not process your return until we receive and inspect the product.
