LAAAYED is the absolute best mouse I have ever used! My long, heavy curls bounce right into place. I love that I can put it on from root to tip without my curls feeling stiff or crunchy. It even nourishes my scalp. On top of everything else, it smells delicious.

Our LAAAYED™ Silky Smooth Curl Defining Mousse is a game changer! Thanks for your great review!
I was super skeptical based on other reviews. I have 2a-2b waves. I followed the instructions exactly which I’d highly recommend. I put the product on my hair when it was still wet in the shower following my wash. I put one pump spread throughout my roots (gentle scrunch) and a 2nd pump for the lower half of my hair (praying hands motion). I was worried at first bc it felt like it didn’t melt into my hair; it almost looked like “soap” but don’t be alarmed! I then passed a denman through the hair and sorta “pumped” the hair from tip to root with my hands… I didn’t scrunch bc I wanted to let the hair fall a little more naturally. I then let it air dry for 30-60 min. Following I completed the drying with a diffuser. Let me tell you… my hair was so soft! No crunch! It had nice shine and movement plus VOLUME!! My hair tends to fall flat at the root and this product worked wonder. I NEVER like my day 1 hair til now. I also didn’t find it to flake day 2 either. I was so pleasantly surprised I bought another bottle. For anyone having an issue follow the instructions. You must have soaking wet hair as stated. If you had an issue 1st time give it another shot. I went on to purchase the gel (which I thought smelled like heaven) and revitalizer; excited to try both next as well.
